Starting a business is a huge step, not just for you but also your family. When you start a business it will affect not only you but the whole family unit, you will work more hours and the strains are sometimes unbearable. On the other hand the freedom that will eventually come is the biggest reward and as for the financial rewards….Well they can be astonishing.

If you are employed in a secure job and thinking of “going it alone” or you have been one of the millions made unemployed and wanting to start a business, you will need a sound business idea and support, but also you will need the right information.

Business is difficult and this is why 85% fail in their first year. Many times this is due to poor advice on you business ideas. Not all ideas are going to make a business but with help, you can at least separate the good from bad.

Some people start businesses and plunge thousands of pounds into them only, to find out in a few months that the idea was a dream of their own and had no chance of being a profitable business. One rule of thumb in this situation is to find out if the idea will have customers and how many before spending even one penny on the business and for-sure before leaving your “secure job.”

I have been in business for many years and have produced a check list that I go through when I have a new business idea; this check list will tell you if your idea has a chance of being a successful business.

I have put this together with my business and marketing knowledge here on this website to help budding business start ups.

Here you will find all the relevant information on all business topics, written in an understandable way but also in a way that will help you start and grow your business idea.

Please feel free to browse the relevant topics and also pop your name and email address into the box on the right for your free marketing guide.
